Without vision insurance, a comprehensive eye exam is $120. This eye exam is available to both adults and children looking for updated glasses prescriptions. Our eye doctors also will conduct a complete eye health check, evaluating for eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. This eye exam includes Optomap retinal imaging.

Without vision insurance, a comprehensive contact lens exam ranges from $200-$240 depending on your prescription. A comprehensive contact lens exam will include up-to-date glasses prescriptions, contact lens fitting, samples of contact lenses we may be trying, contact lens fitting follow up exams and a comprehensive eye health check including Optomap retinal imaging.

If you are having eye symptoms of pain, itchiness, redness, flashes of light, light sensitivity, excesses floaters or swelling, you would need to schedule a medical eye exam. We recommend giving us a call or text at (909)627-1111 to help schedule you an appointment. We recommend reaching out to us beforehand to get an estimated co-pay quote, as most vision insurances do not cover medical eye exam appointments.

Unfortunately, we don't accept any medical insurances. At Bright Vision Optometry we are only providers for vision insurances.

Unfortunately, we are not providers for Medi-Cal or IEHP at the moment.

Unfortunately, we are not providers for Medicare at the moment.

If you have supplement vision coverage under your BlueShield or BlueCross insurance plan and it falls under the vision insurance we accept then yes!

As a private practice, we are unable to accept all insurance. It's the unfortunate reality we live in. We apologize for this inconvenience.

As a medical facility, we recommend every patient to wear a mask. If you are having an appointment with Dr. Julie Kao we kindly require you to wear a mask due to her pregnancy. If you prefer not to wear a mask, please let us know so that we can reschedule your exam with a different doctor.

At Bright Vision Optometry, the health of your eyes is our top priority. So we are requiring all patients who have scheduled an eye exam to receive Optomap retinal imaging in lieu of dilation. Retinal imaging enables our eye doctors to non-invasively examine the overall health of your eye(specifically the retina) and determine whether you are at-risk for any ocular diseases, such as glaucoma, retinal detachment, or macular degeneration. Moreover, it enables us to capture photos of the back of your eye so that we can monitor the progression of your eye’s health over time. Consider the retinal images we take as photographic memory for our eye doctors to remember how your eyes are suppose to look year after year.

No, unfortunately we are not currently accepting walk in appointments. We are appointment based only unless you are coming in to pick up your glasses or contact lens order. Thank you for understanding.

At the moment, our glasses orders are taking an average of 3-4 weeks to arrive at our office.
